Reflections on Assignments for Post I
The hardest part for me was working with the new programs. I never had a blog before, and I hate to admit it, but I do not follow anyone else's. The theory, reading, did not make much sense until I started working with canva. Again, the learning curve was steep on Canva, I had a difficult time grabbing and moving things. Also, I think I took to much time looking for the right pictures. For example in the Christmas Toy flyer, I had to have the cars facing the "correct" way. I think it seem to be "correct" because it causes your eyes to flow to the center car.
The posters were fun to make, I surprised that I was able to do them. As for teaching with these tools, I anticipate going into HR someplace and possible volunteering with an incarcerated college program. I would expect a company who has or hires outside training is going to expect a nice presentation. This gives me confidence that I can learn this.
